Next, we\u2019ll take a guided plant walk along the beautiful trail learning how to identify the wild plants, discussing their history, culinary, medicinal, and artistic uses.\u00a0\u00a0We\u2019ll end the session by nature journaling and sharing (only) if you feel called.<\/p><p><strong>You do not have to be an artist!<\/strong><\/p><p>Nature journaling is about getting curious, making observations, asking questions, and reflecting on whatever comes up for you. It can take many different forms. Some people will journal by taking pictures, some will draw, paint, write poetry and others will measure and collect data. It\u2019s a personal practice that fosters a deeper connection to the natural world and builds confidence as a forager.<\/p><p>Markers, watercolor paint, colored pencils, crayons, pencils and paper will be available.
